1988 NABBA Professional Mr. Universe: Prejudging & Show
The winner of this prestigious title in 1988 was the magnificent CHARLES CLAIRMONTE from UK. For the second year in a row the Professional Universe was staged as a completely separate event along with an international amateur contest called The 1988 Super Body Power Classic. In this DVD see the complete Prejudging with all of the hard fought comparisons. Then the posing by every competitor at the evening finals through to the posedown and awards.
Other competitors who pushed Charles all the way included the very strong USA team of Jerry Scalesse, Jeff King, Marlon Darton and Rufus Howard.
Strong British opposition came from Basil Francis (1987 NABBA Amateur Mr Universe) and Eugene Laviscount. Charles Clairmonte won 4 NABBA Universe titles in his early career and then went on to have a stellar IFBB Pro career winning four IFBB Grand Prix in 1993.
